THE VIOLET REVOLUTION

There is a wind of change sweeping across the American political landscape and it those who heed the call, no the cry of the American people, that will shape the future we so desperately need right now. Everyday more of us realize that no matter what side of the aisle we are on that something has gone terribly wrong with the way we are governed. It becomes obvious to more of us every day that we have been sold a bill of goods for something that is very spoiled, very spoiled indeed. Spoiled by special interest groups and their money, spoiled by the multinational corporations and spoiled by the greed of individuals who see the political system as a way to personally line their pockets. We see that BOTH parties have wronged us, stolen from us, taken our freedom, and left us and our families to rot in favor of the more politically connected. Laws are repealed that once protected us and laws are enacted that make us shake our heads and ask why?

The movement away from the Republican party has been a lesson in sticking to principles not parties and the Democrats are following suit at a rapidly expanding rate to march to the beat of a different political drummer as well. It is the movement against Big Government and the loss of precious freedom and rights and it is a powerful movement that once reaches the tipping point will forever alter the way we conduct our politics. We as a Free people are beginning to see that we are not our parties and in many respects are closer than ever to making the change we really want to see. We never wanted Socialism or Marxist radical views to gain hold in this precious and very unique country…that is not what we wanted and what our ancestors fought so valiantly for.

But we did want change, we needed to have change, we were determined to have change but we find we are headed in an even worse direction, one with no personal responsibility, broken promises and we Democrats, Republicans and Independents are becoming angry.  It is business as usual in Washington and the American people whatever party their registration card says, are not going to take it anymore!

This movement while in its infancy, is beginning to take shape before our very eyes. New and passionate political leaders are beginning to emerge who will answer to the people, who have backgrounds in business and economics and leadership, not backgrounds in the art of speeches meant to fool and back-room dealing 101. And more are ready and willing to answer the call if you give them a reason to, reason to give up a comfortable life and fight for you. Candidates who whatever their party affiliation may be at this time, before a new party emerges, will do what is right and take their marching orders from the people. It is a movement of Peace and Freedom, Love and Acceptance. It is time to really let your voice be heard, answer the call the whispering winds of change have sent you and you have felt deep in your heart. Mix the Red and the Blue of this great nation with the White Light of Truth and you too have joined The Violet Revolution.
